Mesquite Senior Games boasts a brand new website as it celebrates its 20th anniversary of providing competition sports events for the seniors of Mesquite. The website, www.mesquiteseniorgames.org, is bright, easy to navigate, and full of excellent information. Director Amy Bradshaw is completely excited to be able to offer a spring schedule of events to the public. “Families need fun activities, so MSG has added two all-ages family friendly events, the family favorites Cornhole and Horseshoes,” she explains.

With the normal spring season of nearly 20 sports out of the question, MSG has forged ahead with an inventive set of activities that bring people together. The introduction on the new MSG website explains, “We have begun to plan a series of smaller, outdoor single-sport activities in the interim, possibly as early as April. They include two-day golf celebration (Long Drive/Closest-to-the-Pin/Putting/9H tournament), horseshoes, cornhole, target pistol and shotgun sports.”
In the fall MSG is planning a huge relaunch and celebration of its 20th anniversary, complete with all the events normally seen in the spring. Moving forward, they plan two full sporting seasons each year, and ask everyone to join their mailing list to keep informed as plans develop.
