Doris Lorainne Burton was born on January 18th, 1934 to Earl Burton and Evelyn Williams in Ogden, Utah. She was joined later by brother Howard, sister Mary Lou and brother Glen. She married Dave Malan and was gifted with 4 children. Later she married Murray Rothenberger. Her extended family increased to 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her daughters Julie and Jody, her son Mike, brother Glen, sister Mary Lou and her husband, Murray.
She was preceded in death by her son, Terry, and brother Howard.
Dori lived as a spiritual being having a human experience. She loved Jesus Christ and her Father in Heaven, and knew that whomever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. She had confidence that on her death, she would be reunited with friends and family.
For many years, Dori served as Fire Department Dispatch for our community, she was active with a pinochle group. Every Wednesday, at karaoke, Dori showed her talent at telling jokes. She will be missed greatly
Graveside services will be held at Beaver Dam Cemetery on May 23rd at 11 o’clock. Approximately from noon till 2pm we will have a celebration of life at Beaver Dam Station. We wish to thank the many who’ve sent their love and support for her family since the day she passed, May 4th.
