It is with great sadness we share the passing of Levern Pryor after a very short battle with cancer on March 9, 2021 at the age of 78 in Mesquite, Nevada.
Levern was born in Hallettsville, Texas on May 30, 1942 to Grady and Lenno Judd. She is survived by her partner Stan Day, daughter Shauna Nolan, son Timothy Purdy, grandsons Gregory Kursa (Crystal) and Chad Nolan, granddaughter Dyer Purdy-Castillo, two great-grandchildren Alex and Zoe Kursa and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Grady & Lenno Judd, sister Elizabeth Sansom and brothers, James, L.J., Mack and Troy Judd.
Levern came to Las Vegas in the early 60’s and spent the majority of her life in the Vegas area. She married, raised her children, attended Homesite Baptist Church, enjoyed bowling and played softball. She worked in the medical field after her children were grown and loved country western dancing. She was an avid fan of country music and could tell you all about the artists and songs. Sometime in the year 2000 Levern moved to Mesquite, continued to work, enjoy the town and made many friends. After retirement she loved taking long rides to look at the wildflowers and enjoyed the outdoors with her friend and partner Stan.
She loved God, held strong to her faith and attended church in Mesquite. During the past year, with church attendance unavailable, she read her bible every Sunday.
As with her wishes, there will be no service.

What a sweet, lovely lady. I remember her ready smile when each time she came to First Baptist Church.
