Richard Charles Tuttle was born July 29, 1952 in Steubenville Ohio. He passed away on January 11, 2021 in St. George Utah. He was raised in Braddock and Rankin PA. In May 1970 he married the love of his life Margaret (Peggy) Scott.
He joined the US Air Force in 1971 and spent the next 22 years serving his country. He was stationed in Texas, Florida, and Alaska. He served in Desert Storm. After retiring from the Air Force he spent 22 years managing Tudor Road Bingo in Anchorage AK.
When he retired in 2014 he and Peggy traveled the country for 6 months visiting family and friends before deciding to put down roots in Mesquite Nevada. Rick joined many organizations in Mesquite including the Mesquite Rotary, VFW, American Legion, and the Elks Club. He truly believed the Rotary motto of service above self. He also loved volunteering at theVirgin River food bank 2 days a week.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Margaret (Peggy), daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Blaine Roehl and Danielle (Dani) and Martin McGrew as well as daughter-in-law and husband Emily and Tim Shell. Grandchildren Mara Roehl, Charlotte(Charli) Fields, Sterling McGrew, Jeana Tuttle, Lillian Tuttle, and Liam Shell. Brothers Ronald (Bonnie) Tuttle, Donald Tuttle, and Sister Annabell Ratner as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Harry and Lillian Tuttle, brother James Tuttle, sister Beverly Talerico and his son Richard Tuttle II.
