As I wrestle with my own anger and grief at what I have seen this week, I am also aware that I need to speak as a leader within the kingdom of God.
I will never be convinced, and I believe posterity will eventually agree that there was no scientific/statistical way the results being posted now were honest, fair, or just. They are not only improbable, but they are also impossible. Our vote was stolen from us. Thus the very bedrock of our constitutional republic has crumbled.
Now the courts may or may not rectify this, however, the fact remains that the one sacred value that all Americans shared has now been corrupted.
Because of that, the reality is whether we want to accept it or not, is that our nation as we know it has fallen. So what do we do?
As believers in Jesus Christ and as citizens of the kingdom of God we need to remember 4 things.
#1 We need to remember who we are. We are children of the King of kings and Lord of lords. We are citizens of a kingdom that is not of this world. Our allegiance is not to earthly kingdoms but the kingdom of God. Thus we continue to live as strangers in a strange land.
#2 We need to remember who God is. God is good and nothing is above His ability to redeem. Whether our nation falls or rises, God works all things out for good for those who love Him and are THE called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
You are good and do only good; teach me your decrees. Psalm 119:68
This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. 1 John 1:5
This 2020 year has been a year where God has brought to light many things that were hidden, both in the church and outside the church and it has been good for us. We were able to see who would stand for Jesus when the government said sit. We were able to see who believed and who really didn’t because their actions didn’t line up with their words they mouthed over the last 20 or more years. There was a sifting.
And that sifting is continuing. Now we see who will be citizens of the Kingdom over just cultural Christians. Are we Christian Americans or American Christians?
#3 Continue Stepping Out. If there is going to be a redemption of America and our culture we can no longer be complacent and just expect people to fill the seats of our churches. We must get the butts out of the seats and into the streets. The attractional model of church growth must be replaced with a missional model.
2 Cor. 5:18-21
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
God SENT Jesus and God is SENDING us to the world. He is not sending the world to us. That is backward.
#4 Be Salty and be filled with light. Most people try to define being salt as a preservative. However, they miss the fact that salt makes you thirsty. Be the type of people that make others thirst for the things of the kingdom of God. Be people who give a drink of the Spirit to a dry and thirsty land.
The same goes for being filled with light. Most people see light as driving away the darkness. However light attracts bugs. Be the type of person that attracts bugs in the midst of darkness. Be the type of person that shines a light on the path of others so they can see how to navigate their way.
Finally, remember that we are not an island. We are not self-sufficient; we need others. We need to plant ourselves in a community of like-minded believers who will strengthen and encourage us in the days ahead.
No matter what happens with the courts, government, or nation, remember Jesus is Lord.
Blessings!
Pastor Duke

My vote wasn’t stolen from me. It was counted just like yours. You lost!
Quit acting like the pouting president who wants you to believe in all sorts of conspiracies to keep citizens fighting with each other. This doesn’t sound like a christian attitude from a religious man.
KURT P CHENCHICK says
You say there is no way the scientific/statistical results being posted now were honest, fair, or just. They are not only improbable, but they are also impossible That is not a correct statement.
They are probable because the mail-ins were counted last. Mail-ins were predominantly democratic. Using the same argument, can the early days of Trumps count mean it was scientific/statistical impossible for Trump to be so far ahead? To say they are dishonest is a slap in the face to those hard working people doing the count under constant scrutiny of cameras and observers who were republican and democrats. Yes there were some observers not allowed to join those republican/democratic observers who were already in there trying to do their job. What is your number of observers allowed access? 10, 20, 30, 50 ? You are inferring intentional cover up by districts that Trump won along with those he lost. There must have been a lot of counters in a lot districts in a lot of states where democratic and republicans had a zoom meeting to discuss how they were going to fix the election.
I hope you are not preaching to your congregation that there is cover ups because the results do not agree with your political affiliation.
Duke Taber says
It is scientifically mathematically impossible for 135,000 votes to be entered for one candidate. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Terry Donnelly says
Pastor Taber, you are in desperate need of crash courses in both a civics and a math.
Duke Taber says
It is scientifically mathematically impossible for 135,000 votes to come in at one time for one candidate. If you think it is not, then let’s meet and I will let you flip a quarter 135,000 times and see if it comes up heads 100% of the time.
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Terry Donnelly says
135,000 votes for Biden didn’t come in all at once from 135,000 votes counted, but that’s not my point. My point is that 135,000 quarters can come up heads every time if you flip enough quarters, maybe 150,000,000. I proved this with my students once by flipping 100 pennies, collecting all the heads (more than 50) flipping them again, collecting those heads, and doing it again and again until we got down to one penny and then we flipped that single penny two more times before it came up tails. I think the number of flips that one penny came up heads was 12 or 13 in a row. Extrapolate that to 150,000,000 (total votes) and mathematically after ten flips over 135,000 quarters would still be coming up heads. So, scientifically/mathematically, 135,000 flipped quarters coming up heads multiple times in a row is not impossible, which is my point. The civics lesson you need to learn from a crash course is that for 230 years our votes have been counted, elected officials have come and gone, and our republic has held. The last four years have certainly put a strain on our government, but the fact that we held this election, and with clarity and transparency (cameras everywhere in the vote counting offices and Republicans, Democrats, and Independents as monitors by law) our republic has once again risen to the task of surviving. The courts do not make the decisions as you suggest. They have laws made by legislation to follow in making any intrepretations about elections they may be asked to judge.

Stay out of it Terry it’s Not your state, it’s Not your party! We frankly DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU THINK‼️

Until actual evidence of fraud is found (three state courts so far have said no) I would suggest that Jesus’s followers speak not of that which they do not know.
Counting ballots this election is an exceptionally difficult task. Try it yourself sometime and walk a mile in your enemy’s shoes before you condemn him.

We all need to learn and practice walking in love. We need to let God be God, and trust him. God has a plan.

Duke Tabor, I just saw on television where you got your information from of ” there was no scientific/statistical way the results being posted now were honest, fair, or just. They are not only improbable, but they are also impossible.”
Donald Trump Jr. said it on tv.
There are two problems with that.
1. There is no evidence of 135,000 that came in one batch from one precinct going to Biden. Are you sure it wasn’t 135,000 votes that came in from many precincts along with Trump votes(that DJTJ didn’t mention) that added to Bidens count?
2. The information came from Donald Trump Jr.
B F Kenney says
Thank you Pastor Tabor for speaking the truth! The responses to your message remind me of group think… following along with the Big Tech and media liberal gibberish. Astounding that they know so much more than Jesus’s followers…
–I never thought I would see the day when the country I (and my husband) served over 20 years to defend and protect would turn against the values we fought to protect. My husband and I are Christians and we believe the majority of Americans are faithful believers of the values that established this country and created our constitution and religious freedoms. And now we come to 2020 where the media tells us how we should think and how we should vote, a media that twists the truth and doesn’t hesitate to lie when the truth doesn’t fit their narrative. – How can a senile politician of 47 years who hardly ever leaves his basement win an election against a President that has done so much good for this country? I guess this really is a test of good against evil and evil has won – now we can have unlimited abortions(murder!) and the conservatives will be totally shut out and no longer able to voice their opinions. So many of them have already met with serious injury. This country is headed for socialism and anarchy and I hope that all of you who voted in hate against President Trump are prepared to live in the world you’re going to create with the liberal left.———I don’t have enough time here to list the misery that you voted for, but I’m glad I may not live to see the worst of it. Unfortunately my children and grandchildren will have to suffer whatever evil you have brought down on all of us. We’ll continue to follow Jesus (not CNN) and pray for God’s mercy.
Nancy Arnold says
You profess to be a Christian, you do not speak as a Christian. You know for a fact that Biden is senile and never leaves his basement? Pretty sure you are breaking the 9th commandment. Being a Christian you will know the one I am talking about. Making unfounded statements about a fellow Christian is something Jesus would never do.
Jimmy Wike says
None of us know and we may never know to what extent fraudulent acts were committed. If in fact those acts were committed they may or may not change the final outcome. What we do know or at least what I believe is that after everything that has transpired over the last 4 years with incessant accusations of collusion, etc, etc, it is certainly not unreasonable that a sizeable percentage of the electorate would think that the the Democrats would do anything legal or otherwise to remove this President.

Thank you pastor, your response to closed minded democrats about this being a fair election cheers me up, thank you!!! We know we supported the best leader for our cause- God’s- but God again, as with Obama, said no! Blessings!

If you are such a believer in God how can you even like President Trump?

Well said, Pastor Duke. Thank you.
