Unexpected things happen in life, and so the story goes. People have had to make many life adjustments from time to time, whether it’s due to births, deaths, marriages and illness…there’s never a ‘perfect’ time when it comes up suddenly. It’s how we all survive, and sometimes we just need to hit the pause button.
I enjoy writing, reading and always learning new things; it keeps the brain from getting soggy so-to-speak. I also know how important it is to recognize the signs, to which our body and mind may need a little rest in order to collect thoughts, instill our core values again and recover overall; similar to pushing a reset button. That is what I’ll be doing for a short period of time.
While I truly enjoy conversations, I find myself in a quiet place lately, as people around the world seem to be anxious, confused, angry and emotionally drained from this past year. Health is at the forefront and I’m stumbling through a few of those road blocks once again; being a cancer survivor comes with a few hiccups along the way.
I’m positive all will be okay, as my faith (personally) will see me through. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for reading my articles (opinions) and whatever things I could share that might help you along your journey each week.
I hope to return soon; take or leave a couple of weeks I guess. I need to focus on my health, and with the support of family and friends I’ll be able to do just that. So, once again…Thank you, stay safe, be healthy and be good to one another; life can be too short sometimes as we all found out this past year. I’ll be back soon. God Bless.
Make your life count.

I am rarely at a loss for words. However, for reasons I’m not sure I fully understand, but as one who suffers from chronic heart disease, your words truly hit home with me. You are so very correct – there are times we are best served by taking pause. Life can sometimes come at is in ways difficult to accept and for which we are not fully prepared. I wish you well.
